In 2023, Saigon Co.op continued its annual Green Consumption campaign, encouraging customers to prioritize environmentally friendly products and reduce plastic waste. This campaign was launched in coordination with Báo Sài Gòn Giải Phóng and included a series of communications and in store experience activities to help shoppers recognize and choose green products.
Within the same series, Saigon Co.op ran the “Gia đình Việt – Đại sứ xanh” program across about 800 retail points from 22 June to 12 July 2023. The program combined strong promotions with family focused engagement, offering discounts on thousands of items and small gifts, while inviting customers to take part in a green shopping journey and receive an “Đại sứ xanh” recognition.
As part of this campaign, Saigon Co.op organized a customer engagement and product showcase activity under the “Hành trình Sắm Xanh” theme. The event introduced Saigon Co.op private label products, including Co.op Finest flushable wet wipes manufactured by Dai Phat Phat International for distribution at Co.opmart.
The Co.op Finest flushable wet wipes manufactured by Dai Phat Phat were presented as a modern alternative to conventional wet wipes. The product is designed to break down quickly after disposal and is able to dissolve in water under appropriate conditions. According to published product information, the wipes are made from a material blend of 80 percent natural wood pulp and 20 percent viscose, supporting Saigon Co.op’s green consumption message.
As the OEM manufacturer, Dai Phat Phat International worked closely with Saigon Co.op during product development and production, ensuring compliance with private label requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing specifications. The event helped customers better understand the product’s features, correct usage, and its role in promoting more responsible daily consumption.
